How to generate $48k in functions revenue from leads you already have
Most restaurants (Note: I've spoken to more than 1k restaurant owners) don't contact past function enquiries. They rely on new enquiries for bookings, missing out on the untapped value of old enquiries. Perhaps this is your restaurant, too.
Here's the data behind contacting previous event leads.
Example
Let's say your restaurant has been in business for 5 years and you receive an average of 20 corporate group or event enquiries per month. You have 5 x 12 x 20 = 1200 leads in total.
If, after you contacted those 1200 leads, just 2% made a future booking with you, then that's 24 events booked.
If your average event value is $2k, then that's $48k in revenue.
Pro Tip: To make this easier, try storing your leads in a CRM or spreadsheet.
